Societies don’t crumble because of gender, sexuality, or race issues. They don’t even crumble because of greed.

They succumb to their own inability to reconcile their values and actions and their refusal to atone for them.

Once a society has everything it could need, the only progress left to be made is spiritual. Neglecting that progress through how social issues are dealt with is what dooms individuals and societies, not social issues, themselves
